Summer time is the best time to refocus your own yoga practice. As you begin your summer schedule of vacations, family vistis and out of the routine activities, this is the perfect time to let go of the weekly routine of coming to class and begin to think about how you can incorporate your pratice into your daily life, at home or on vacation. Practicing yoga outside is a delicious treat, no matter where you are. Give it a try and see if you can stay focused as a bug crawls on your mat or a fly buzzes by. See if you can truly enjoy the sounds of nature, or the sounds of city. As much as I love teaching you in class, I do so with the hope that you will incorporate these ideas into your own life off the mat, not to be dependant on me for every practice. That is the ulltimate goal: you come to me for more teaching and inspiration, so you can take it home and make your life a little brighter by what you learn. I have been so blessed to be able to bring the gifts I received from my teachers, and you have taught me so much in return. Thanks for a great spring session and I am already planning for our fall session. Be well. Julie
