Thanks to you all for allowing us to take a step back to the basics and relearn the essential elements of a safe and healthy practice. You were so open-minded and eager to advance your practice by steeping in the basics. We all know our greatest growth comes from solidifying our foundation. I am excited for the next session to see how your understanding effects your practice. Yoga injuries need not sideline your practice when you remember the basics, and when you listen to your body. When we use our body as a guide, we know how far to take a pose, when to modify and when to rest and recover. Although this concept is rarely heard in our day-to-day life, our inner wisdom is affirmed and fueled when we honor this information. That is what yoga really is: being mindful and intentional about our life so we can shine our light a little more brightly. Honoring ourselves is a great place to start.
I am a devoted yoga enthusiast and teacher.
